Over the weekend I adventured into Forest Park’s Grand Basin. To my amazement I found the fountains of the Grand Basin Lake with large balls of ice around them. I was so intrigued by the frozen fountains and just had to shot some video of this interesting ice bowels around the fountains. I usually carry my flip video camera with me and luckily I had it with me to record this view of the frozen fountains on a cold day in the St Louis Forest Park Grand Basin.

The view of the Forest Park Grand Basin in the winter my look a bit bare but in the summer time it is full of color and life. If you ever want to use forest park during the summer, the park offers a 4 hour rental for weddings. To learn more about this you can read about here.
