Hello St Louis!

I wanted to remind you that the St Louis Boat & Sports Show is putting on it’s annual show at the America’s Center & Edwards Jones Dome. It will be open from February10th through the 14th, 2010.

It always excites me to go to the show to get my need to find out what is new and hot in the boating, fishing and hunting sports for the new year. The only bad thing is I get a big urge to go out for a fishing trip or a boat ride. Unfortunately, this year is way to cold to even think about it.

There is always a lot of new fishing and hunting supplies at the show. You can talk with the many business owners of boat dealerships and sporting goods stores. There are also many resort owners come down to the show to let you know what they have to offer  for your summer vacation trip or your next fishing or hunting trip.

There is always a lot to do at the show for the adults and kids. It mite by a good time to get that exercise you need and knock off that winter couch potato thing you have been developing during the cold winter months.  Some of the things that will be going on at the show…

  • DockDogs Competitions
  • Antique & Classic Boat Display
  • NEW! Affordability Pavilion
  • Boating & Outdoor Classroom
  • Archery Room: 3-D Pop-up Bowhunters Challeng
  • Turkey Calling and Owl Hooting Workshop/Contest – Sat. Feb 13 – Competitions beginning at 10am-1:30pm
  • SpongeBob SquarePants
  • NEW! Adopt a Dog
  • Texas Bass Tank
  • NEW! Wing-a-Thon Wing Eating Contest – 6pm on Friday, February 12.
  • St. Louis Herpetological Society Snake and Lizard Exhibit
  • Bassmaster Kids Casting Competition – free, get prizes each day
  • FREE Fishing for Kids at Becky Thatcher Trout Pond
  • Kids’ Cove – Parents, take a break! Interacative play area for young outdoor enthusiasts features hands-on activities, face painting, concessions and seating.

These are some of the things going on at the boat and sports show. If you want to learn more about other activities, times & dates,  jump on over to the official St Louis Boat  & Sports show website.

Remember try to use the public transit system to save you the hassles of parking down by the show. Just remember to take the kids along or not but enjoy the day seeing the Great show St Louis Boat & sports show has to offer!
